PCI compliance
If you already have an ecommerce website, you will no doubt be familiar with the security requirements set out by the PCI DSS (The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).
At NetBenefit we have a senior team of project managers and IT services professionals working together with our chosen QSA (Qualified Security Assessor) to achieve both Service Provider status and merchant status for those brands within Group NBT that transact online. As a result we fully understand the extent of the policies and procedures that need to be addressed to become PCI compliant and the importance of finding a PCI compliant hosting provider.
During the course of our PCI projects, we have created a hosting environment and a set of products and services (PCI toolkit) that you can be confident will complement the processes and policies that you have put in place as a merchant.
If you are unsure as to how to proceed with PCI compliance or what is required from your PCI hosting provider, please email hosting@netbenefit.com or call us on 0800 328 7477. We would be happy to discuss your requirements in further detail.
What is PCI DSS?
The PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is a multifaceted security standard that includes requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other critical protective measures. This comprehensive standard is intended to help organisations proactively protect customer account data.
The standard was created by the five founding members of the PCI council who are American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa Inc.
