NetBenefit Cloud server FAQs
Q. Do I need to pay with a credit card?
A. No. You pay for the NetBenefit Cloud services with regular invoices allowing you to control your costs.
Q. Do I get full visibility of all costs?
A. Once you have decided upon the CPU, hard drive and RAM that you require, you will get full visibility of how much your Cloud service is going to cost each month. You can then add additional units of RAM, CPU and hard drive as you require. The cost of each additional unit is clearly displayed before you confirm your purchase.
Q. Are support costs extra?
A. No support costs are included in your pre-arranged monthly fees.
Q. Is the NetBenefit cloud service secure?
A. Yes. The NetBenefit cloud service is protected with enterprise grade Fortinet firewalls.
Q. How long does it take to create additional resources?
A. You can add new cloud servers, CPU, RAM and hard drive within minutes. These additional resources will then be available to use within a hour.
Q. How do I know what sort of cloud servers that I need?
A. NetBenefit’s team of experts can advise you as to the best requirement for your business. We apply the same level of consultation and support to our cloud services as to our managed hosting services.
Q. How do I manage my cloud servers?
A. All NetBenefit Cloud customers get access to the NetBenefit Cloud Control Panel. This allows you to increase, or decrease, RAM, hard drive and CPU via an easy to use browser based control panel.
Q. What can I use the NetBenefit cloud service for?
A. You can use your NetBenefit cloud services for hosting websites, application or advertising campaigns. Typically our customers would use dedicated servers for heavy database applications or large email servers and cloud services for websites or short term campaigns or development environments.
Q. Do I need to develop my applications in a specific way to use the NetBenefit Cloud service?
A. No. The NetBenefit cloud is a hosting platform that you can use in the same way as you would a traditional dedicated server.
Q. Do I have to commit to a 12 month contract?
A. No. We operate flexible contract terms which allow you to commit for just one month or 12 months. Typically customers commit to a 12 month contract for the basic package and then can choose to add additional cloud servers or units of RAM, hard drive and CPU for as little as one day at a time.
