NetBenefit server monitoring services

For server availability and usage monitoring, you can choose between standard and advanced monitoring services. 

Standard server monitoring

NetBenefit’s standard level of server monitoring comes free of charge with every Windows or Linux server.  This service provides a basic level of monitoring on 2 ports of your choice.  Alerts are sent to two nominated email addresses.

Advanced server monitoring

The advanced server monitoring service provides in-depth and pro-active tracking of what is taking place on your website or web applications and the servers that they rely upon. 

It is possible to monitor up to 10 ports or URLS of your choice. Real time alerts are sent to two designated contacts via both email and SMS.  For peace of mind, an alert can also be sent when the problem is resolved.

The service is tailored to meet your requirements but examples include:

Monitoring service Example alert
CPU usage Alert triggered if the CPU usage reaches a predefined percentage.
Memory usage Alert triggered if free memory drops to a predefined value.
Disc alerts Report generated if failures detected on discs or RAID array allowing discs to be hot-swapped where necessary.
Application checks Alarm sent in the event of an application failure.
Database checks System alerts sent if standard database query produces unexpected response.
Text string System alerts if a defined text string contained within a web page is altered or removed.
Hard disc monitoring Alerts to notify nominated personnel if the file store begins to fill up beyond a predefined percentage.
