NetBenefit helps Konica Minolta take recycling initiative online
NetBenefit hosts Clean Planet Program for Konica Minolta printing solutions in Europe
London, UK – July 10 2007 – NetBenefit is providing a managed hosting solution for Konica Minolta’s Clean Planet Program, an environmental initiative which has been made available online by Konica Minolta Printing Solutions Europe B.V, a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of document printing solutions. The Clean Planet Program allows customers to return their used toner cartridges for free. The cartridges are then sent to the recycling facility, where 99% of the material is reused.
The domain is one of 20 supported by NetBenefit for Konica Minolta, each of which makes up the company’s corporate website for Europe providing key programmes and promotions for customers and dealers across all of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Jean-François Perron, Online Marketing Manager EMEA at Konica Minolta explains: “Everyone is looking at ways to help improve the well-being of the planet. By providing customers with a free and easy online recycling programme, we are taking important steps to minimise the environmental impact throughout the entire product life cycle.
"Our Clean Planet Program is a high priority for us. We needed a hosting provider that could ensure the right hosting platform was in place for the initiative to run smoothly. Konica Minolta’s online programme is all about establishing a direct relationship with our customers and partners and having a web hosting partner that can support us in achieving this is of the utmost importance. NetBenefit gives us just that. We’ve worked together for five years and been consistently impressed with the level of service we have received."
Colin Bell, sales and marketing director, NetBenefit comments: "Corporate websites are about much more than selling products or establishing an online presence. They are a key way to establish a relationship online with customers and partners. When a site is business critical in this way it is of the utmost importance that organisations can rely upon enterprise level managed hosting support to ensure they have 100% peace of mind."
