The brainchild of digital industry entrepreneurs Simon Grice and Tony Fish, mashup events* take place in various London venues and consist of a mixture of speakers, panel debates and demonstrations covering a wide range of topics from Enterprise 2.0 to social networking and cloud computing.

mashup* provides coalescence for a disparate yet highly motivated group of over 3,000 executives, entrepreneurs and investors professionals. The 2009 events kicked off in January with a full house and a lively debate looking at real time social media. Future topics include Being Location Aware, Open Government and Cloud Computing, an event which will be facilitated by NetBenefit’s COO, Jonathan Robinson on Tuesday April 28.

Jonathan Robinson comments: "The mashup* events provide a great opportunity to debate the very latest digital ideas and issues as well as a showcase for cutting edge technologies. NetBenefit offers a wide range of managed hosting services that cater for all requirements from the startup to the established online brand. We are very proud to be part of this exciting digital community."

As well as sponsoring the event, NetBenefit hosts www.mashupevent.com, which includes interactive content through a blog, discussion forums and video content. The site also provides up-to-date information on the events including profiles of speakers and demonstrations. New additions to the site include an improved self service feature, video streaming and more statistical information about each of the sponsors.
